Minicity Ljubljana is a theme park in the shape of a little city, composed of streets, roads, houses and a green park. In houses a little bakery, bank, police and fire station, and 30 other thematic corners in which children get acquainted with their dream professions through play and acquire useful skills for everyday life. All activities are developed by a team of experts from the fields of pedagogy and psychology in cooperation with the Slovenian economy and public institutions who provide also the equipment for the play units.
The creative children’s city Minicity is intended for all children up to 12 years of age.
Infants and children younger than 2 years can explore in a fenced Toddlers Corner, located in our Little Café & Cake Shop, free of charge, so that also parents can take a moment for themselves without worries. In the thematic corners, activities of various difficulties, which are led by animators and for which you have to pay the entrance fee, are available for children older than 2 years of age. The activities are implanted also in various foreign languages and adapted for children with special needs by prior arrangement.
