On Universal Children’s Day, the imaginative children’s city Minicity, where children learn about different professions together with their friends, opened their doors for free for more than 1.700 children and parents. Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, and Zoran Jankovič, the Mayor of Ljubljana, have also visited them.
In Ljubljana’s "miraculous" children corner called Minicity, they have celebrated Universal Children’s Day in a very special way. In cooperation with the Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth, they have prepared a round table on violence against children. Approximately 150 children and their parents attended the meeting with President Borut Pahor and they were pleased to show him the workshops on a broad range of professions.
The creative children’s city Minicity, located in BTC City Ljubljana, offers free admission for today, where the youngest ones will learn how to behave responsibly towards the environment and protect it for the next generations of children.
Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, will also visit Minicity and will attend the workshops on which children will present various professions. He will talk to them about the work of the President of the Republic and the children will hand him the suggestions on how a city should look like according to them.
